Broadcast begins of the Brawl on 9/18/2009 via B2TV

The online broadcast partner of MNRG, B2TV, will be broadcasting the entirety of the Brawl of America from the 18th to the 20th of September live without charge.  We’ve been loving the video quality and production (Replays?  Really?) that we’ve gotten from them for the past several years, and we hope you enjoy it as well.

Get your video feed here at http://b2cabletv.com.

One note: the feed uses the .wmv format…which means you’re in great shape if you’re on Windows.  Read on if you own a Mac.

Typically, to view embedded WMV content in a web page, you will need to install Flip4Mac - a common Quicktime plugin that knows how to play Windows Media (WMA/WMV).

However, the current Flip4Mac does not work under Snow Leopard - if someone is using a Mac which has been upgraded to Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6) the streaming WMV files that B2TV uses will not open.

Instead, viewers will have to install the Flip4Mac Snow Leopard beta which is available here:
http://dynamic.telestream.net/downloads/download-flip4macwmv-beta.asp

Once that is installed, Viewers will need to restart their Safari or Firefox web browser and re-open the b2cabletv.com website.

(Thanks to Spike of the MNRG refs for the Flip4Mac notes.)
